Review of The Last to See Her by Courtney Evan Tate

A woman disappears into the dark city night...

Gen is on the verge of a divorce from her cheating husband. When her sister, Meg, has a convention to attend in the Big Apple, she invites Gen along to celebrate her newly found freedom. But the perfect sisters' getaway quickly goes awry when a tipsy Gen defiantly throws her wedding ring off the hotel room's balcony. Then, wanting some fresh air, she decides to take a late-evening walk alone and vanishes without a trace.

The investigation that follows uncovers secrets--and betrayals--between sisters and spouses that will twist the truth in on itself until nothing is clear.

My Review:

This was an interesting book. Sometimes a little slow, but did move along enough to keep my attention and cause a mild amount of intrigue. 

Gen isn't having the best of luck at the moment. Her life is falling apart and her marriage is seemingly heading for divorce. When her sister reaches out it seems like a great chance to get away from everything. To use the time to clear her head and figure out her next step. 

Meg takes her convention as a time to help her sister as well. Not knowing that the invitation will lead to secrets being uncovered and her sister missing. 

Thought provoking and intriguing. Would definitely try more from this author.
