Review of Between the Lies by Michelle Adams

I received a copy of this title via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What would you do if you woke up and didn't know who you were?

Chloe Daniels regains consciousness in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.
She doesn't recognize the strangers who call themselves family. She can't even remember her own name.

What if your past remained a mystery?

As she slowly recovers, her parents and sister begin to share details of her life.
The successful career. The seaside home. The near-fatal car crash.
But Chloe senses they're keeping dark secrets - and her determination to uncover the truth will have devastating consequences.

What if the people you should be able trust are lying to you?

My Review:
4 Stars

Waking up and not knowing where you are is scary, but waking up and not knowing who you are would be down right terrifying. This happens when Chloe wakes up after a near fatal car accident. An accident that is shrouded in it's own level of mystery.

Upon returning to her family home, Chloe can't help but feel out of place. Not seeming to fit in with her family, she manages to go along with what they say and the therapy sessions that her accomplished father provides. Unanswered questions and uncovered clues lead to more secrets and questions than Chloe is prepared to deal with.

Not knowing who to trust, Chloe launches her own crusade to find out who she was before the accident and what exactly happened the night that changed her life forever. Little does she know that danger lurks around every corner she turns.
