Review of What Rises Above (Memories Part 2) by Melissa Silvey

I received a copy of this title from the author in exchange for an honest review. I do not and will not accept monetary compensation for reviews. These are my own thoughts and opinions.

Chelsea Scott is different. Everything is different. She's remembering her past.
The decision of who she wants to spend the rest of her life with may be important, but it's not as important as remembering who she is.
Her journey of self-discovery is just beginning, but she may learn more than she ever wanted to know. She might end up wishing she could forget it all again.

My Review:
4 Stars

I eagerly anticipated the continuation of this story. When we left off Chelsea just realized that Thorn was her "stalker" and the one who releases the videos.

The conclusion to this story surprised me greatly. I was worried about what path Chelsea would ultimately choose, given the amount of power and influence Thorn possessed. While there were times that it derailed her, she was quick to adjust and continue to try and find a way out from under his thumb.

The characters and the development of the story are enjoyable and attention grabbing. A brilliant duet.
