My Review of Dawn of Rebellion by Michelle Lynn

Dawn of Rebellion is the first in a trilogy about two sisters, Dawn and Gabby, trying to find their way and their family in a desperate future. In this first book, they encounter the forces of British occupation and the seeds of rebellion in a land formerly known as America.

Trust...Family...Love...Courage...Betrayal

When faced with the possibility of losing her sister, Dawn must find the strength to overcome anything that is thrown in her way. With the help of some unlikely friends, she travels to a wild land and faces enormous obstacles at every turn. From barbaric people to the wild animals that roam the land, this adventure is much more than Dawn bargained for...but it's for her sister and she won't let her down.

My Review:
5 Stars

I really enjoyed the story that lies within Dawn of Rebellion. One of my favorite things about his book is the bond between Gabby and Dawn. Even though they have had to struggle for most of their lives, they have a bond that cannot be broken.

The other aspect of this book that I really enjoyed was the premise of the story. While there are stories about the world ending and people having to run from deformed survivors, Dawn of Rebellion has a more realistic feel to it. While is still holds the standard of humans having ruined the world, it does so in a more believable way.

Dawn and Gabby have quite the adventure in this first installment. While Gabby acts foolishly, she does so with her sister's happiness in mind. These two encounter quite the adventure as Dawn sets off to save Gabby from a fate that most would say is worse than death.

An adventurous story about two sister that would do anything and everything for the other. They have a bond that rivals most real day relationships. I cannot wait to see where the rest of the series takes them.
